We are really missing all the Grade 1 students that were going to visit the Lesser Slave Lake Bird Observatory this week. Since you can't come to us, we wanted to bring our field trip fun to you! Check out our new HOW TO BE A BIRD SCIENTIST Program for early elementary students.
This on-line program will take you on a visit to our station to learn more about the LSLBO from home. Start off with a short interactive video that explains “what is a bird” and what our scientists do at the station to learn more about birds during migration.

After the video, you can practise your banding skills on a family member with our "HUMAN BANDING ACTIVITY".
