VISION & GOALS
The Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation is a joint venture between the Lesser Slave Lake Bird Observatory and Parks and Protected Areas. These two groups have joined to form a partnership for the purposes of working together towards shared goals.

| Our mission is to create an environment that supports learning, understanding, collaboration and informed decision making with respect to conservation and sustainability. We focus our attention and research on boreal birds, learning from them more about the health of our ecosystem. We work collaboratively with researchers, government, industry, educators and members to find better ways of living and working that sustain the ecosystems we are all a part of. |
