In honour of Thanksgiving, we wanted to send out a special thank you to all of the amazing, enthusiastic staff that we had this crazy season at the centre.
Despite all the challenges, they managed to deliver the avian monitoring programs at the Lesser Slave Lake Bird Observatory, completed fieldwork for 2 collaborative research projects, created fun new online resources for teachers and students, and shared the beauty and ecology of Lesser Slave Provincial Park with visitors from across Alberta. We couldn't have done it without you.
Happy Thanksgiving! ... See MoreSee Less

That means 23% of our recaptures are 'foreign recaptures' (banded outside of the LSLBO bubble)! ... See MoreSee Less
