Wage: $19-$22/hr depending on experience
The Lesser Slave Lake Bird Observatory and education partner, the Lesser Slave Forest Education Society, are looking for a creative individual to develop and deliver fun, hands-on, environmental education programming about boreal forest ecology for audiences of all ages. Working as member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering education programs to school groups during our busy spring and fall fieldtrip season. You will also help to develop new lesson plans for K-12 on boreal forest ecology themes. During the summer months you will assist in the development and delivery of education programs for a wide range of audiences including summer day camp participants, families, tourists and seniors. In addition, you will provide support to visitor information services and retail operations at the Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation.
